Chef Mark Cutrara of Cowbell knows how to throw a dinner party. This one will be an epicurean feast for the senses!
The pig that is to be roasted is right now, as i type, being fed on whey from the Monteforte dairy in Stratford. Lucky porker! Cowbell's dedication to finding local, in season produce and imaginative spins on traditional french recipes will make this dinner in your top ten of all time. I had a roast pig once in Cuba that was to die for but Mark swears this will be better.
And then there's the wine.....Drink specials all night....And who knows what will come out of the cellar. (It is Parkdale so you really never know.)
Et aussi, I am delighted to have been asked to serenade the food cognoscente with a few of my best musical pals. I have spent the winter and spring back and forth from Toronto and Los Angeles writing, performing and picking up a few nifty ideas on the way. I'm excited and proud to play at one of my very favourite local spots, eat some delicious food and drink some tasty wine. Swish!
